American novelist Stephenie Meyer is the creator of the Twilight series, which consists of four fantasy romance novels. The four novels, which were published yearly between 2005 and 2008, follow the late adolescent years of Bella Swan, a teenager who relocates to Forks, Washington, from Phoenix, Arizona, and develops feelings for Edward Cullen, a 104-year-old vampire.
Plot
Bella is drawn to Edward Cullen, an enigmatic and attractive guy, without realizing it after arriving to Forks. She ultimately finds out that Cullen is a vampire who belongs to a family that consumes animal blood rather than human blood. As James, a vicious vampire from a different clan, becomes attracted to Bella, Edward and Bella grow in love.

Bella Swan - The main character in Stephenie Meyer's Twilight book series. She is a junior in high school, seventeen years old, and at first seems like any other adolescent female.
Edward Cullen - Is a vampire who developes feelings for Bella Swan, a teenager human, throughout the Twilight novel. Born in 1901, he was transformed into a vampire in 1918 by Carlisle Cullen.
Jacob Black - Is a Native American who belongs to the Quileute tribe and lives in La Psuh, close to Forks, Washington. He is the bestfriend of Bella Swan and in the series he and Edward Cullen compete for Bella Swans heart.
Theme
Meyers examines the difficulties of adolescence and coming of age via the use of paranormal romance themes like adventure and supernatural encounters. The notion of supernatural terror can also be noticeable to some.

Author and film producer Stephenie Meyer hails from the United States. With over 160 million books sold, her vampire romance saga Twilight is her most well-known work. Meyer earned his English literature degree from Brigham Young University. Along with her husband and three sons, she resides in Arizona. With nearly 29 million books sold in 2008 and 26.5 million in 2009, Meyer was the U.S. bestselling author of both years. The Twilight series finale, Breaking Dawn, won British Book Awards' 2009 Children's Book of the Year.
